Qualifying Statement
Parish Clerks Insurance applies to UK residences in England, Scotland and Wales only where your home is also your office.

You must ensure that the statements below together with any other information provided by you are correct.
Should you decide to buy this insurance these statements and other information provided by you will form the basis of the insurance contract between us.
Incorrect information could invalidate your cover.
Your business is:
- Of an Advisory, Administrative, Professional, Consultancy and/or Clerical nature ONLY and is home-office based with no manufacture or storage of goods at the property.
Your Home is:
- Your permanent residence, not a holiday, weekend or weekday home.
- Occupied by you and your family only, i.e. no lodgers, persons not related to you, not shared, lent, let or sub-let.
- Built of brick, stone or concrete and roofed with slate, tile, concrete or metal with no more than 20% flat roof - disregarding garages and sheds.
- Self-contained with its own front door.
- Maintained in a good state of repair and is not a listed building.
- Not in an area which has a history of subsidence or flood and has not suffered from subsidence, heave, landslip or flood.
- Not regularly left unoccupied other than holidays and will not be left unoccupied by you for more than 30 consecutive days.
You and Any Person Normally Living with You, or in Business Partnership with You, have:
- Never been convicted of, charged or cautioned with any criminal offence (disregard motoring offences).
- Never been declared bankrupt or the subject of bankruptcy proceedings.
- Never had insurance declined or special terms imposed.
- Not suffered more than two losses (whether insured or not) in the last five years.
- Not suffered any losses totalling more than £1,000 in the last 5 years.
